Create a Facebook account

You'll need a personal Facebook account to create a Page and a Business Manager.

Facebook Pages and Business Manager both sit on top of a personal Facebook account. If you already have one, skip to the next step — you don't need a new one.

  1. 1Go to facebook.com and tap Create new account.
  2. 2Enter your name, email or phone, a password, and your birthday.
  3. 3Confirm your email or phone to activate the account.
Note · This personal account stays private. Merge never posts to it or touches it — it's only the foundation your business Page is built on.
